František Janda-Suk (1927)

František Janda-Suk (born March 25, 1878 in Postřižín , Středočeský kraj ; † June 23, 1955 in Prague ) was a Czechoslovak athlete .

At the Olympic Games in Paris in 1900 , starting for Bohemia , he was second in the discus throw behind the Hungarian Rudolf Bauer (36.04 m) with a width of 35.25 m .

In 1912 in Stockholm he was also part of the Bohemian Olympic team, but failed both in the discus throw and in the shot put in the qualification.

At the Olympic Games in Paris in 1924, he started again in the discus throw for Czechoslovakia , but was eliminated in the preliminary round.
