Frantze Kuczinrade

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Frantze Kuczinrade (also Francze Koczinrade, Koczinrode ) was a Dresden councilor and mayor in the Middle Ages .

His family probably came from the nearby town of Kötzschenbroda (1378: Koczschenbrode ), where various Dresden citizens owned vineyards and fields.

The family is first mentioned in Dresden in 1352, where on March 13, 1352 an Adolfus Koczenrode (Adolf von Koczcenrode) is named as councilor and witness in a document. From 1362 Frantze Koczinrade belonged to the Dresden council. In 1373, as mayor, he was the issuer of a certificate dated February 5, also in 1379.
