Franz-Josef Möllenberg (born May 18, 1953 in Hagen ) is a German trade unionist .

Möllenberg has been employed by the Food-Gourmet-Gaststätten (NGG) union since 1975 . The trained banker began his full-time trade union career in 1975 as a secretary and from 1978 as managing director in the administrative office in Hagen / Westphalia. In September 1990, he was elected chief cashier to the executive board. From the Extraordinary Trade Union Day in Düsseldorf in 1992, Franz-Josef Möllenberg was chairman of the NGG. At the 2013 trade union day, he decided not to run again.

He has also been Vice President of the International Union of Food, Agricultural, Hotel, Restaurant, Catering, Tobacco and Allied Workers' Associations (IUF) since 1993 . The IUF has more than 334 unions with around 3.5 million members from 120 countries. Möllenberg is also Vice President of EFFAT ( European Federation of Food, Agriculture and Tourism Trade Unions ).
