Michaela Rosenberger

Michaela Rosenberger (born May 12, 1960 ) is a German trade unionist .

Life

Michaela Rosenberger grew up in Sankt Michaelisdonn , where she attended secondary school before completing an apprenticeship as a hotel manager near Heide . The later vocational school subject teacher has been a member of the Food-Enjoyment-Gaststätten (NGG) union since 1981 . In the early 1990s, Rosenberger was trained as a union secretary in order to begin her full-time union career in 1992 at the NGG headquarters in Hamburg. In 1997 she moved to the NGG regional district north, where she was responsible for the areas of education and women, as well as various area and company collective agreements. Rosenberger was elected to the Managing Board of NGG at the 2003 trade union day and confirmed accordingly at the 2008 trade union day. The trade union day in November 2013 finally elected her chairman with 87 percent of the vote. In 2018 she did not run for health reasons, her successor was Guido Zeitler .

Michaela Rosenberger is a member of the SPD.
