Franz Adis

Franz Adis (born February 23, 1916 in Rottenburg am Neckar ; † May 4, 2005 ) was a German CDU politician . He was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg .

After graduating from high school in Rottenburg, he entered the senior administrative service. After serving in the war, he became a town clerk in Oberndorf am Neckar in 1947 . In 1949 he was elected mayor of Rottenburg and remained in office until 1954. He then took over the mayor's office in Baiersbronn in 1955 and remained in office for two and a half decades until 1981.

Honors

In 1981 Franz Adis was awarded the Baden-Württemberg Medal of Merit.
