Franz Behrend
Franz Behrend (born April 7, 1864 in Danzig ; † June 21, 1918 in Sopot ) was a German administrative lawyer.
Life
Franz Behrend studied law at the Georg-August University in Göttingen . In 1886 he was in the Corps Bremensia recipiert . After graduation and the doctorate to Dr. iur. he entered the Prussian civil service. In 1893 he passed the examination as a government assessor in Stralsund . 1900 became district administrator of the Lyck district . In September 1905 he was appointed to the government council. As such, he worked for the government in Opole in 1910 . Most recently he was director of the Upper Insurance Office in Danzig as a senior government councilor until 1917 . He died at the age of 54.
