Franz Belitz

Franz Belitz (born July 11, 1881 in Berlin , † after 1944) was a German banker and manager . He was a bank director and board member of Reichs-Kredit-Gesellschaft Aktiengesellschaft Berlin.

Life

After attending the Realgymnasium in Berlin, Franz Belitz pursued legal studies and worked at the Mitteldeutsche Creditbank. He then moved to the Prussian Central Cooperative Fund. In 1912 he became a member of the board of the Schwarzburgische Landesbank in Sondershausen . In the middle of the First World War, Franz Behm took over the management of the Thuringian branch of Dresdner Bank in Erfurt in 1916 . In 1920 he was promoted to deputy director of Dresdner Bank in Berlin. In 1925 Franz Belitz became a deputy member of the board and from April 1, 1931 a full board member of Reichs-Kredit-Gesellschaft A.-G. in Berlin. In 1936 he was also a bank director.

Franz Belitz was presidential councilor of the Reichsfilmkammer , member of the Academy for German Law , board member of the Berlin stock exchange and advisory board of the Berlin Chamber of Commerce and Industry as well as a member of the German gentlemen's club . In addition, in 1933 he was appointed to the board of directors of the Berlin Stock Exchange , the supervisory board of the Getreidekredit-Bank Berlin and the supervisory board of the Byk-Guldenwerke Chemische Fabrik Berlin. In addition, after 1933 he was a member of the supervisory board of the Eisenwerkgesellschaft Maximilianshütte and in 1938 a member of the supervisory board of the H. Aufhäuser bank in 1870 . In 1939 he became a member of the board of directors of the Quandt family . Franz Belitz was also a member of the Friends of the National Gallery in Berlin . In 1945 his traces are lost in public.

He lived in Berlin-Dahlem , Finkenstrasse 21.
