Look into the country way
The Schau-ins-Land-Weg is a 97-kilometer long- distance hiking trail that connects the East Westphalian city of Bielefeld and the agricultural town of Bevergern in the Steinfurt district.

At Burg place in Hörsteler district Bevergern ( ) beginning of the show-ins-Land path runs along the Dortmund Ems channel along about Dorenthe , Brochterbeck and the Federal Highway 1 , crossing according Georgsmarienhütte further by Hankenberge , Wellingholzhausen ( Beutling ) Borgholzhausen , Werther ( Westf.) And Kirchdornberg to the destination on the Johannisberg in Bielefeld ( ).
The Schau-ins-Land-Weg leads hikers from the Tecklenburger Land into the Teutoburg Forest . It is a popular alternative to the Hermannsweg , which runs parallel to it and which leads as a ridge path over the heights of the Teutoburg Forest, while the " X25 " with many beautiful views mostly runs along the edge of the mountain range.
Labelling
The scene-to-Country Lane is the signpost -Markierung X and - where appropriate - with the route number "25" ( X25 marked).
The designation “ 25 ” was erroneously added to the 24 existing hiking trails of the Westphalian Heimatbund , but it clearly belongs to the Teutoburg Forest Association.
The Schau-ins-Land-Weg is looked after by the members of the Teutoburg Forest Association .

- In Bevergern the Hermannsweg ( H ) ( Rheine → Leopoldstal , 156 kilometers) and the X13 of the Westphalian Heimatbund ( Hopsten - Shell → Lüdinghausen , 126 kilometers) cross.
- In Hörstel- Riesenbeck there is the transition to the X7 of the Westphalian Homeland Federation ( Gronau → Riesenbeck)
- The Hermannsweg ( H ) and the X6 of the Westphalian Heimatbund cross in Brochterbeck ( Vreden → Tecklenburg , 111 kilometers)
- In Hagen there is the transition to the X15 of the Westphalian Home Federation ( Osnabrück → Hamm , 127 kilometers)
- The Hermannsweg ( H ) crosses again in Hilter
- In Borgholzhausen, in addition to the Hermannsweg ( H ), the Sachsenweg ( S ) that begins here also crosses to Preußisch Oldendorf (41 kilometers)
- In Werther there are transitions to Hermannsweg ( H ) and Talweg ( X8 , Werther → Bad Oeynhausen (50 kilometers))
- In Bielefeld the Hermannsweg ( H ) and the X19 of the Westphalian Heimatbund crosses again (Bielefeld → Münster , 85 kilometers)
