Talweg (TWV)
The Talweg is a 50-kilometer long- distance hiking trail that connects the East Westphalian towns of Werther (Westphalia) in the Gütersloh district and Bad Oeynhausen in the Minden-Lübbecke district.
Surname
The valley path got its name from its course through the valley meadows of Warmenau , Else and Werre .

Starting at the central bus station (ZOB) in Werther ( ), the valley path runs over Königsbrück Castle ( ), Sankt Annen ( ), Spenge ( ), the Hücker Moor ( ), Bünde ( ), Kirchlengern ( ) and Obernbeck to Löhne ( ), crosses twice the federal highway 30 and then leads to the destination, the north station in Bad Oeynhausen ( ).
The trail leads the hiker from the Ravensberg hill country on the northern edge of the Teutoburg Forest through the Osnabrücker Land to the south side of the Wiehengebirge . On the way he has to climb 168 meters up and 238 meters downhill. The lowest point of the path is at the Werre bridge in Bad Oeynhausen ( 48 m above sea level ), the highest point is 137 m above sea level after leaving Werther . NHN .

The valley path is connected to the signposts -Markierung X and - where appropriate - the path number "8" ( X8 in).
The valley path is looked after by the members of the Teutoburg Forest Association .

- The Hermannsweg ( H ) ( Rheine → Leopoldstal , 156 kilometers) and the Schau-ins-Land-Weg ( X25 ) ( Bielefeld → Bevergern , 97 kilometers) cross in Werther
- In Melle - Neuenkirchen the Sachsenweg ( S ) crosses ( Ravensberg Castle (Borgholzhausen) → Limberg Castle ( Preußisch Oldendorf ), 45 kilometers)
- In Bad Oeynhausen the Dingelstedt path ( X5 ) crosses (Bad Oeynhausen → Polle )
