Lönspfad
The Lönspfad is a 44-kilometer long- distance hiking trail that connects the East Westphalian towns of Horn-Bad Meinberg and Oerlinghausen in the Lippe district.
The Lönspfad is named in honor of the German writer Hermann Löns (1866–1914), who had already become a myth during his lifetime as a hunter, poet of nature and local history, and as a natural scientist and conservationist .

Starting at the train station in Leopoldstal ⊙ - stopping point of the RB 72 - the hiking trail leads through the Silberbachtal to Kohlstädt and Berlebeck (to Detmold ). Past the Adlerwarte ⊙ the path continues over the 393 m above sea level. NN high Klöppingsberg , passes the Bielstein transmitter ⊙ and the Senne military training area in Augustdorf . The destination of the Lönsweg is at the archaeological open-air museum in Oerlinghausen ⊙ .
The trail leads the hiker from the border area to the Egge Mountains through the Teutoburg Forest and the Senne . On the way he has to cope with 926 vertical meters up and 916 vertical meters downhill. The lowest point of the path is in Berlebeck ( 180 m above sea level ), the highest point ( 417 m above sea level ) is reached shortly before Berlebeck.

The Lönsweg with the signpost -Markierung X and - where appropriate - the path number "10" ( X10 marked). The Lönsweg is looked after by the members of the Teutoburg Forest Association .

- The Cheruskerweg ( X3 ) ( Porta Westfalica → Schlangen), the Diemel-Lippe-Weg ( X4 ) (Marsberg → Schlangen) and the Runenweg ( X7 ) (Porta Westfalica → Schlangen) cross in snakes.
- In Augustdorf the Diemel-Ems-Weg ( X3 ) crosses ( Warburg → Augustdorf)
- The Hermannsweg ( H ) crosses again in Oerlinghausen (Rheine → Horn-Bad Meinberg)
