Dingelstedt Path

The Dingelstedtpfad is a 114-kilometer long- distance hiking trail that connects the East Westphalian town of Bad Oeynhausen and the Lower Saxon town of Polle on the Weser in the Holzminden district.

Starting at the south train station in Bad Oeynhausen ( ), the Dingelstedt path runs via Oberbecksen , along the Steinberg to Vlotho ( ), via Kalldorf , Möllenbeck , Rinteln , Exten , Goldbeck , Bösingfeld , the Hohe Asch , Alverdissen , the Saalberg , Barntrup , Blomberg ( ), Schieder and Schwalenberg , Rischenau and over the Köterberg ( ) to the destination in Polle ( ). The hiker is led from the south side of the Wiehengebirge in the Ravensberger Hügelland through the Lipper Bergland into the Weserbergland . On the way he has to conquer around ± 2,400 meters in altitude. The hiker reaches the lowest point of the Dingelstedt path between Möllenbeck and the Doktorsee ( 50  m above sea  level ), the highest point is 496  m above sea level. NHN on the Köterberg.

The Dingelstedtpfad is looked after by the members of the Teutoburg Forest Association .
