Dingelstedt Path
The Dingelstedtpfad is a 114-kilometer long- distance hiking trail that connects the East Westphalian town of Bad Oeynhausen and the Lower Saxon town of Polle on the Weser in the Holzminden district.

Starting at the south train station in Bad Oeynhausen ( ), the Dingelstedt path runs via Oberbecksen , along the Steinberg to Vlotho ( ), via Kalldorf , Möllenbeck , Rinteln , Exten , Goldbeck , Bösingfeld , the Hohe Asch , Alverdissen , the Saalberg , Barntrup , Blomberg ( ), Schieder and Schwalenberg , Rischenau and over the Köterberg ( ) to the destination in Polle ( ).
The hiker is led from the south side of the Wiehengebirge in the Ravensberger Hügelland through the Lipper Bergland into the Weserbergland . On the way he has to conquer around ± 2,400 meters in altitude. The hiker reaches the lowest point of the Dingelstedt path between Möllenbeck and the Doktorsee ( 50 m above sea level ), the highest point is 496 m above sea level. NHN on the Köterberg.

- In Bad Oeynhausen there is the possibility to cross over to the " Talweg " ( X8 , Werther (Westf.) → Bad Oeynhausen, 50 kilometers)
- In Vlotho the " Cheruskerweg " crosses ( X3 , Porta Westfalica → Schlangen 66 kilometers)
- In Varenholz there are transitions to the " Burgensteig " ( X2 , Porta Westfalica → Höxter , 115 kilometers) and " Runenweg " ( X7 , Porta Westfalica → Schlangen, 74 kilometers)
- Rinteln the cross " Karl-Bachler-way " ( X4 , Bad Salzuflen → Rehburg-Loccum 77-km) and the X10 of the Solling Association (Rinteln → Bodenfelde , 156 km)
- The " Dachtelfeldweg " ( X12 , Stadthagen → Bösingfeld, 58 kilometers) and the Hansaweg ( X9 , Herford → Hameln , 74 kilometers) cross in Bösingfeld
- Barntrup : This is where the " Burgensteig " crosses ( X2 , Porta Westfalica → Höxter, 115 kilometers)
- In Blomberg, the " Niedersachsenweg " ( X6 , 86 kilometers) from Detmold to Hameln crosses
- In Schieder the " Emmerweg " crosses ( X8 , Altenbeken → Emmerthal , 65 kilometers)
- In Schwalenberg the " Burgensteig " ( X2 ) crosses again
- At the Köterberg there is the possibility to change to the X18 (Hameln → Bad Karlshafen ) as well as to the X19 ( Uslar → Bad Pyrmont ) of the Solling club
- At the destination in Polle, the two aforementioned paths cross again, X18 and X19 , as well as the X28 ( Alfeld → Polle)
