The Bell of Happiness (Chinese: 吉祥 钟; pinyin: Jixiang zhong) is a large bell located in the Foquan Temple (佛 泉 寺) in Pingdingshan , Henan , China . This is close to the Zhongyuan Buddha , the world's largest Buddha statue. The bell weighs 116 tons, is 8.108 meters high, has a diameter of 5.118 meters at its edge and is 20 centimeters thick. The bell of happiness claims (as of 2020) the title of the heaviest ringing bell in the world.

The bell was cast in December 2000 and rang for the first time (with 21 strikes) on New Year's Eve of the same month at midnight. The shoulder area of ​​the bell is adorned with 36 lotus petal patterns.
