Shoma Ridge is a mountain ridge in the north of South Georgia in the South Atlantic . On the Barff Peninsula , it extends from Mills Peak west of Rookery Bay in a northeasterly direction.
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named him in 2014 in memory of the British whaler Shoma , at the accident due to a collision with the West Skerry in a storm on February 7, 1934, the whole consisting of twelve men crew was killed.
