Franz Brehm

Franz Brehm (born November 20, 1861 in Chiesch ; † July 28, 1941 there ) was a member of the state parliament of the Pan-German party in the Bohemian state parliament.

Life

Brehm attended high school in Brüx . After graduating from high school , he moved to Prague to study medicine. There he joined the Teutonia Prague fraternity in 1881 . After completing his studies, he worked as a general practitioner and district doctor in Chiesch. From 1899 to 1906 he was elected as a member of the state parliament for the Pan-German party in the Bohemian state parliament. He was appointed Vice President of the German Section of the Medical Association of Bohemia and was also chairman of the German Cultural Association. From 1919 to 1931 he was mayor of Chiesch. Brehm was given honorary citizenship by Chiesch for his services.
