Franz Brunner (politician, 1926)

Franz Brunner (born September 25, 1926 in Haag , Lower Austria ; † June 5, 1982 ibid) was an Austrian farmer and politician ( ÖVP ).

Life

Brunner attended secondary school, the agricultural vocational school and in 1952 took over his parents' farm. In 1955 he was elected to the local council and in 1960 to the city council of his hometown. From 1962 to 1982 he held the post of Vice Mayor. Between 1964 and 1969 he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament and from 1970 to May 28, 1982 member of the Austrian National Council .

Brunner was awarded the professional title of Economics Council.

He was also a dialect poet.
