Franz Duboscq

Franz Duboscq (born May 6, 1924 in Saint-Jean-de-Luz ( Département Pyrénées-Atlantiques ), † December 7, 2012 in Iholdy (Pyrénées-Atlantiques)) was a French politician with a Gaullist orientation.

Life

He was born in the Basque coastal town of Saint-Jean-de-Luz as the son of the composer Claude Duboscq and the pianist Philippe Marie Keller . From 1968 to 1973 he represented his home department as a member of the National Assembly and member of the Gaullist party Union des démocrates pour la république and from 1983 to 1992 as senator for the successor party Rassemblement pour la République . 1971–1994 he was also a member of the parish council of Saint-Palais and 1976–1985 a member of the general council ( conseil général ) of the département.
