Franz Eilmansberger

Franz Eilmansberger (born December 12, 1921 in Sarleinsbach ) is an Austrian engineer .

Life

Eilmansberger held the post of structural engineering director of Oberösterreichische Kraftwerke AG until 1986 , after having started as a clerk there more than 30 years earlier. In his role as structural engineering director, he built the two Traun power plants in Marchtrenk and Traun-Pucking and prepared the entire further expansion plan for the Traun .

From 1975 to 1986 he was also the director of the management board at Ennskraftwerke AG . Under his leadership, the Klaus power plant was completed and the existing power plants were converted to modern turbine systems.

On May 29, 1972, Federal President Franz Jonas awarded him the Silver Medal of Honor for Services to the Republic of Austria .
