Franz Gausterer

Franz Gausterer (born February 16, 1931 in Grimmenstein ; † July 6, 2012 in Wiener Neustadt ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and farmer . From 1987 to 1988 he was a member of the state parliament of Lower Austria .

Life

Gausterer attended elementary and secondary school and in 1954 became self-employed as a farmer. He also worked as a warehouse clerk from 1962 and was deputy chairman from 1965 and from 1985 chairman of the Aspang Chamber of Agriculture. He was awarded the professional title of Economics Council.

politics

Gausterer was politically active between 1975 and 1986 as the ÖVP district party chairman, and from 1979 to 1990 he was active as a local councilor in Grimmenstein. On October 15, 1987, he succeeded Johann Wildt as a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament, but left on November 17, 1988.
