Franz Gerstbrein

Franz Gerstbrein (born February 7, 1959 in Straubing ) is a German musician , arranger and composer .

Life

Franz Gerstbrein was born as the first child of Johann and Marianne Gerstbrein. He received his first trumpet lessons from Gerhard Roßmanith from the Regensburg State Theater . After graduating from high school, he studied trumpet with Walter Uhlemann and Paul Lachenmeier at the State University of Music in Munich. He then became 1st flugelhornist in Army Music Corps 4 in Regensburg , then solo trumpeter in the music corps of the Bavarian Police . Gerstbrein has been working as a freelance musician, arranger and composer since 1995.
