Franz Graf (politician, 1900)

Franz Graf (born February 11, 1900 in Düsseldorf ; † December 6, 1956 ) was a German politician ( FDP ). From 1954 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

Life

After elementary school , Franz Graf attended a teacher training college and then completed a commercial training course. At the adult education center he trained in civil law, criminal, commercial, state and supply law. From 1921 he worked as a self-employed businessman , then from 1928 to 1933 as a manager. Between 1933 and 1940 Graf was employed by the Rhenish provincial administration. After 1945 he became an independent businessman again.

Graf was a member of the city of Düsseldorf from December 1948 to 1952. In 1952 he became councilor and parliamentary group leader of the FDP in the Düsseldorf city council. He was the first chairman of the FDP district and district association in Düsseldorf. From 1953 to 1956 Graf was a member of the Rhineland Landscape Assembly. In the North Rhine-Westphalian state elections in 1954, he was elected to the state parliament via the state list of the FDP. He was a member of parliament from July 13, 1954 until his death on December 6, 1956.
