Franz Hörhann

Franz Hörhann (born March 30, 1895 in St. Pölten ; † March 16, 1974 there ) was an Austrian politician ( NSDAP ) and 23rd mayor of St. Pölten.

Life

The son of a scaffolding worker was born on March 30, 1895 in St. Pölten. After completing school and an apprenticeship, he became an iron caster at Voith . On March 15, 1938, he was appointed mayor of the NSDAP and held this office until August 20 of that year. Then he became a functionary of the German Labor Front and district chairman of Kraft durch Freude . He died on March 16, 1974 in his hometown.
