Franz Happernagl (born December 25, 1929 in Ingolstadt ) is a former German sprinter .
biography
After Happernagl had won the bronze medal at the German Championships in 1952 over 100 meters, he was allowed to start a few weeks later at the Olympic Games in Helsinki in the 4 x 100 meter relay . However, the season was eliminated in advance.
Happernagl worked as a payroll clerk for Audi for 38 years . He was a member of the Audi factory orchestra, which is now the Wind Philharmonic Orchestra.
His grandson Christian Happernagl is also a sprinter.
