Franz Hiller (politician)

Franz Hiller (born June 25, 1948 in Unterstinkenbrunn ) is an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and farmer. Hiller was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1981 to 2008 .

Life

Hiller attended elementary and secondary school and was professionally active as a farmer. Between 1976 and 1980 he held the function of the main district chairman of the Young People's Party and between 1977 and 1997 he was district farmers' council chairman. From 1980 he was also chairman of the district chamber of farmers. Hiller represented the ÖVP from April 9, 1981 in the Lower Austrian state parliament. After he no longer stood as a candidate in the state elections in 2008 , he left the state parliament on April 10, 2008.
