Franz Hitz

Franz Hitz (* 1952 in Linz ) is an Austrian graphic artist and painter .

Live and act

Hitz studied from 1969 at the art school of the city of Linz in the master class for painting with Alfons Ortner and graduated in 1975 with a diploma. He lives and works as a painter and graphic artist in Linz and Vienna. He lived for a while in the Egon Hofmann House and is a member of the MAERZ artists' association . From 1972 to 1975 he was co-editor of Outlines , a publication by graduates and students of the art school of the city of Linz.

Exhibitions

The artist exhibited in private galleries in 1987 and 1989 and has repeatedly participated in group exhibitions since 1987, including several times in the MAERZ gallery.
