Franz Josef Hoop (politician, 1871)

Franz Josef Hoop (born April 29, 1871 in Eschen ; † July 15, 1923 there ) was a Liechtenstein politician ( VP ).

biography

Franz Josef Hoop was the son of Jakob Hoop and his wife Anna Maria (nee Kranz). He was a citizen of the municipality of Eschen and worked as a farmer. From 1909 to 1918 and from 1921 to 1923 he was a member of the municipal council of ash and was from 1921 to 1923 and deputy community leader . From 1918 to 1922, Hoop was a deputy member of the Landtag of the Principality of Liechtenstein for the Christian Social People's Party .

In his first marriage, Hoop was married to Berta Batliner (1870-1906), in his second marriage to Maria Mathilde Schächle. He had seven children, five of whom were from his first marriage, including the later state parliament president and head of government Josef Hoop .
