Franz Josef Marxer
Franz Josef Marxer (born August 29, 1871 in Eschen ; † December 7, 1958 there ) was a Liechtenstein politician (FBP).
biography
Marxer was Eschen's community treasurer from 1906 to 1912. From 1912 to 1918 he served as the community leader . He was also a member of the municipal council from 1921 to 1924 and was deputy mayor from 1924 to 1927. In 1918 Marxer was one of the founding members of the Progressive Citizens' Party (FBP).
In addition to his political activities at the community level, Marxer was also active in regional politics. From 1906 to 1922 and again from 1926 to 1939 he was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Liechtenstein . During this time he held the office of Vice President of the State Parliament from 1930 to 1932, from 1933 to 1934 and from 1935 to 1936. Marxer was a member of the government of the Principality of Liechtenstein from 1918 to 1922 .
