Franz Josef Ritter (politician, 1847)

Franz Josef Ritter (born November 1, 1847 in Mauren ; † November 13, 1928 there ) was a Liechtenstein politician.

biography

Ritter was the son of Franz Josef Ritter and his wife Maria Anna (nee Mündle). He was a citizen of the municipality of Mauren and worked as a farmer and merchant. From 1891 to 1897 he was a member of the municipal council of Mauren and acted there as a treasurer. From 1897 to 1900 he was the community treasurer and from 1903 to 1909 the mayor of Mauren. Furthermore, from 1906 to 1910 Ritter was a deputy member of the state parliament of the Principality of Liechtenstein .

In 1874 he married Rosa Kieber. The marriage had seven children.
