Franz Joseph Reich
Franz Joseph Reich (* 1813 ; † May 1859 ) was a German lawyer, revolutionary and parliamentarian.
Life
Franz Joseph Reich came from Buchholz . He studied law at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1831 he became a member of the Corps Palatia Heidelberg, where he was active together with Friedrich Hecker . In 1836 he became a trainee lawyer after passing his exams. He then became a lawyer in Buchholz. In April 1848 he was a participant in the Hecker uprising . On May 18, 1849 he was appointed civil commissioner for the Waldkirch district office by the Baden revolutionary government. For electoral district VIII (districts Emmendingen, Kenzingen, Waldkirch) he was a member of the Baden Constituent Assembly of 1849 . He was a board member in his local people's association .
