Franz Kaindl (politician)

Franz Kaindl (born January 9, 1902 in Dobersberg ; † June 26, 1970 in Gaweinstal ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and teacher. Kaindl was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1945 to 1948 .

Life

After primary school, Kaindl attended the Waidhofen grammar school and then the Wiener Neustadt teacher training college . He subsequently worked as a teacher and was arrested and released after the National Socialists came to power in 1938. Between 1941 and 1942 he subsequently had to do his military service during the Second World War . After the end of the war, Kaindl was a district school inspector in Waidhofen an der Thaya from 1945 and then worked from 1948 to 1967 as the main school director in Gaweinstal. He published numerous local works and poems, including the 1925 Waldviertel anthem "'s Waldviertel is g'wiß".

Kaindl represented the ÖVP from December 12, 1945 to July 5, 1948 in the Lower Austrian state parliament.
