Franz Karl von Rump zu Crange (* around 1771 , † after 1812 ) was canon in Münster .

Life

The von Rump family had inherited the Crange family in 1637 . This former moated castle remained in the possession of von Rumps until 1812 . Franz Karl von Rump zu Crange was the son of Christoph Albert von Rump zu Crange and his wife Maria Theresia von Merode on House Merfeld. In 1793 it came into the possession of a cathedral priest in Münster , who had become free through the renunciation of the canon Hermann Werner von Bocholtz . Franz Karl had been ordained a priest . After the cathedral chapter was newly formed after the secularization , it remained in this body until 1812.
