Franz Lang (politician, 1871)
Franz Lang (born December 24, 1871 in Eggendorf am Wagram , † April 14, 1938 ) was an Austrian politician ( CSP ) and business owner. From 1919 to 1925 he was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament and held the office of mayor of Eggendorf am Wagram.
Life
After the three-class elementary school, Lang worked as a farmer and was involved as chairman of the dairy cooperative.
politics
Lang was named in 1919 as the first executive councilor of Eggendorf and was later mayor of the municipality until 1938. He also worked as a member of the district school council and the state culture council. On May 20, 1919 he was sworn in as a member of the Lower Austrian Landtag and belonged to the Lower Austria-Land Curia between November 30, 1920 and May 11, 1921 during the separation phase of Vienna from Lower Austria. Lang resigned from the state parliament on March 27, 1925, where a "private affair" forced him to resign.
