Franz Lehrer (born July 15, 1895 in Linz ; † October 26, 1962 there ) was an Austrian civil servant who also worked as a graphic artist , calligrapher and bookplate artist.

Franz Lehrer lived and worked in Linz as a civil servant (accounting director) and graphic artist. His friends and fellow artists included u. a. Max Kislinger and his student Toni Hofer . His main subject was commercial graphics. Teacher designed the Linz city arms, which was used until 1965.
