Franz Ludwig von Rossieres
Franz Ludwig von Rossieres (* 1710 in Nyon / Vaud (Switzerland); † June 28, 1778 in Schönwalde in Silesia) was a royal Prussian major general, chief of infantry regiment No. 50 and commandant of the Silberberg fortress .
His family comes from Savoy and he initially served in Sardinia . 1770 entered Prussian service as a colonel. He got the newly established garrison battalion of the fortress Silberberg, as well as the position of the commander there. On May 21, 1772 he was appointed major general. He died on June 28, 1778 in Schönwalde in Silesia.
He was married to one of Schlieben . After his death, the widow built the later Königsmarcksches Palais in Berlin.
