Franz May (* 1869 ; † October 1938 in Bremen ) was a German businessman , politician and senator in the Senate of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen .

biography

As a businessman, May was a partner in the Bremen metal goods and household goods company Meyer & Weyhausen am Schüsselkorb 22. From 1922 to 1932 he was president of the Central Association of Hardware and Household Goods , a trade association for the German hardware and household goods trade.

From 1920 to 1925 May was a non-party senator in the bourgeois Senate of the Free Hanseatic City of Bremen under the non-party President of the Senate Martin Donandt .
