Franz Meiller
Franz Meiller (born May 11, 1961 in Munich ); is a German entrepreneur , photographer , theater and film producer .
biography
Franz Meiller completed his business studies at the LMU in Munich. He is the marketing director of Franz Xaver Meiller Vehicle and Machine Factory - GmbH & Co KG , as well as managing director of the associated FX Meiller Beteiligungs-GmbH. Franz Meiller has been artistically active since the 1970s. In his youth he had several theater engagements and to this day several small film roles. He has been working as a theater and film producer since 2007. At the moment he mainly appears as a photographer. In his photographic work, Franz Meiller examines the polarity between reality and abstraction. He also works as a theater photographer. In 2014 he founded the Franz Meiller Foundation, which, in addition to donations, is financed from the proceeds of his photography. In 2019 he produced the staged reading “Also dwarfs started small” for Peter Luppa (written and directed by Klaus Pohl), which has been performed at the Berliner Ensemble since the 2019/20 season.
