Franz Moser (politician, 1901)

Franz Moser (born October 6, 1901 in Schwertberg , † August 28, 1975 in Linz ) was an Austrian farmer and politician .

Life

Moser took over his parents' business in Aisting in 1926 , founded the Aisting- Furth fire brigade there in 1932 and was its commander until 1938 . From 1934 to 1938 he was mayor of Schwertberg and from December 19, 1945 to November 8, 1949 he represented the ÖVP as a member of the National Council . His political activity in the local council of Schwertberg after 1945 (temporarily also as deputy mayor) ended in 1970.
