Since the German Foreign Ministry demanded the extradition of Jews from the Vichy regime , Reisz was deported on June 25, 1942 via the Camp de transit de Pithiviers to the Auschwitz concentration camp , where he was registered with prisoner number 42447. In the concentration camp he worked in the office.
