Franz Ritzmann

Franz Ritzmann (born April 1, 1929 in Zurich ; † January 12, 2018 ) was a Swiss economist .

Life

Ritzmann received his doctorate in 1961 at Friedrich Lutz at the University of Zurich Dr. oec. publ. There he received his habilitation in the summer semester of 1969. He was from the winter semester 1969/70 extraordinary and from summer semester 1972 Full Professor for theoretical and practical Social Sciences at the University of Zurich. At the end of the winter semester 1995/96, Ritzmann retired.

The medical historian Iris Ritzmann is his daughter.
