Franz Schick (born June 22, 1960 in Mühldorf am Inn ) is a former German soccer player . He is the record scorer in the Bayern League .
Career
player
The striker first played in the youth teams of TSV Ampfing , later in the first team. In 1979 he was promoted to the Bayern League. In 1982 he moved to league competitor TSV 1860 Munich . After only two seasons, however, he returned to Ampfing, where he had scored 15 goals in 31 missions with the Löwen . In the 1986/87 season he was in the Bundesliga squad of VfL Bochum . There he came on four short missions, in which he was denied the goal. He returned to Ampfing after the first half of the season, where he stayed until 1994.
Between 1979 and 1989, Schick was the top scorer in the Bayern League five times. With a total of 217 goals, he is the Bayern League's record scorer.
Trainer
From 1991 to 1994, Schick was head of the soccer department at TSV Ampfing. He then coached several mostly lower-class Bavarian clubs. Until 1998 he was player-coach at the district league club SV Nussdorf . He then led the SC Baldham from 1998 as a player-coach from the B-class in the district league. From January 2003 to summer 2005 he coached FC Falke Markt Schwaben . In the 2007/08 season he was coach at TSV Zorneding until April 2008 . Since May 2011 he has been the coach of the first team of the Munich regional division TSV Trudering .
