Franz Schindler (basketball player)

Franz Schindler is a former German basketball player who played in the Bundesliga for TV Langen and was a junior national player.

career

Schindler made the leap into the basketball league in June 1981 with TV 1862 Langen in a promotion round and was part of the squad in Langen's first first division year in the 1981/82 season.

In the summer of 1982 Schindler took part in the German national junior team at the European Championship in Bulgaria  , and a year later he also played for Germany at the World Junior Championship.

After the Bundesliga relegation in 1982, he was on the field for Langen in the 2nd basketball Bundesliga . 1985 succeeded in returning to the Bundesliga. In 1987 Schindler withdrew from the Bundesliga squad to devote himself to his studies.
