Franz Waas
Franz Sales Waas (born November 19, 1960 in Landau an der Isar ) was the CEO of DekaBank .
Life
Franz Sales Waas grew up in Munich . After graduating from high school in 1980, he studied business administration . After completing his studies, he began his career at Bayerische Vereinsbank , for which he took on management positions on the Cayman Islands and New York from 1994 . In 1999 he moved to Landesbank Baden-Württemberg and in 2001 to the board of directors of Landesbank Schleswig-Holstein . From the merger of the Landesbank Schleswig-Holstein and the Hamburgische Landesbank to form HSH Nordbank on June 2, 2003 until the end of 2005, he was a member of the board of this Landesbank . From January 1, 2006 to April 2, 2012, he was CEO of DekaBank .
Franz S. Waas is married. He has both German and US citizenship .
