Franz Wiget

Franz Wiget (born February 18, 1961 in Schwyz ) is a Swiss chef .

Career

After completing his training, Wiget went to the Hotel Seepark in Oberägeri in 1980 and to the Café Haug confectionery in Schwyz in 1982 . In 1983 he cooked in the NCO School of the Swiss Army and then switched to the Raben restaurant in Lucerne in 1984 . In 1987 he went to the Belvoirpark hotel management school in Zurich.

He has been head chef at the Adelboden restaurant in Steinen since 1989 . It has been awarded two stars in the Michelin Guide since 2009 and 18 points in the Gault Millau since 2008.
