Franziska Prade

Franziska Prade (born March 8, 1989 ) is a German swimmer . Her specialty is freestyle swimming , especially the longer distances over 400 m and 800 m. She swims with Daniela Götz and Teresa Rohmann at SSG 81 Erlangen . Franziska Prade has been studying medical technology at the Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg since October 2009 .

With the SSG 81 Erlangen she reached 2nd place in the German Swimming Team Championships (DMS) in 2006 and 2007 and in 2005 3rd place in the Bundesliga.

In 2005, together with Antje Mahn, Nadine Stresing and Sophie Dietrich, she won the title of the 4 × 200 m freestyle relay at the European Junior Championships in Budapest .

In 2006, the German championship title over 4 × 100 m freestyle in the relay with Daniela Götz, Elisabeth Krüger and Laura Vanek followed in Berlin . In addition, there was the year-round championship title in the 400 m, 800 m and 1500 m freestyle, plus a third place in her year over 200 m freestyle.

In the course of the last few years Franziska Prade was able to win several titles at the South German Championships and the Bavarian Championships. Among other things, she is Bavarian champion 2006 over 400 m freestyle, 800 m freestyle and 1500 m freestyle. In 2007 she was able to defend her titles in the 400 m freestyle and 800 m freestyle.
