Frauke Freifrau Marschall von Bieberstein (born Lammers , born June 17, 1974 in Osnabrück ) is a German economist and professor of organization and personnel at the University of Bern .

education

After graduating from high school in 1993 at the Ursulaschule in Osnabrück, she first studied linguistics at the University of Angers , then from 1994 economics at the Universities of Konstanz and Bonn . On the latter, she graduated in 1999 as a graduate - Economist from. From 1999 to 2004 she worked intermittently as a management consultant at McKinsey during her doctorate .

Scientific activity

From 2002 to 2004 she did her doctorate rer. pole. at the chair for organizational theory at WHU - Otto Beisheim School of Management , where she also completed her habilitation and worked as a junior professor . After a substitute professorship at the University of Bonn, she took over the joint management of the Institute for Organization and Personnel at the University of Bern with Norbert Thom in 2010 .

Her main research interests are personnel economics , behavioral economics as well as laboratory and field experiments with companies and organizations.

Private

Frauke von Bieberstein is married, has two daughters and lives in Bern .
