Fred Strohmeier
Fred Strohmeier (born June 13, 1941 in Khünegg , Sankt Peter am Ottersbach ; † February 6, 1999 ) was an Austrian journalist and author.
biography
As the son of poor small farmers, he was a farm worker and unskilled worker in his youth. From 1962 he worked as a journalist. In 1980 he became editor-in-chief of the Styrian weekly newspaper Neues Land . From that year he was also editor of the Bauernbund newspaper.
