Frederick Askew Skuse
Frederick A. Askew Skuse (* around 1863 ; † June 10, 1896 in Sydney ) was a British-Australian entomologist .
Live and act
Frederick Arthur Askew Skuse studied at the Natural History Museum in London before going to Australia in 1886 to work on the Australian two-winged birds. In 1890 he was promoted to research assistant in the entomological department of the Australian Museum . He held this position until his early death. Among other things, he is the first to describe the Asian tiger mosquito Aedes albopictus .
