Frederick Blackett
Frederick Blackett ( Frederick Joseph "Fred" Blackett; born January 17, 1900 in the Metropolitan Borough of Bethnal Green , † May 17, 1979 in the London Borough of Enfield ) was a British hurdler who had specialized in the 400-meter distance .
At the Olympic Games in Paris in 1924 he was disqualified in the final.
On July 17, 1925, he set a British record in London with 56.0 s over 440 yard hurdles (corresponds to 55.7 s over 400 m hurdles).
