Frederick Field Bullard

Frederick Field Bullard (born September 21, 1864 in Boston , Massachusetts , † June 24, 1904 ) was an American composer.

Bullard first studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology before turning to music. He then studied organ and composition with Josef Rheinberger in Munich for four years . He then lived in Boston as a composer and music teacher. His most famous student was Edward Burlingame Hill .

Bullard composed a number of Easter and Christmas cantatas, as well as songs and popular choral works such as the Stein Song , Barney McGee and A June Lullaby .
