Frederick Morris Warren
Frederick Morris Warren (* 1859 , † 1931 ) was an American linguist .
life and work
Warren studied at McDaniel College in Westminster, Maryland . He received his doctorate in 1887 from Johns Hopkins University with the work The world of Corneille. A study of popular movements and notions as seen in his works and became professor at Adelbert College in Cleveland , then professor of modern languages at Yale University .
Warren was president of the Modern Language Association of America in 1907.
