Fredric Warburg (born November 27, 1898 in London , † 1981 ) was a British publisher .

In 1936, Fredric Warburg took over the publishing house founded by Martin Secker in 1910 . From then on, the company traded as Secker & Warburg Ltd. Warburg made particular efforts to develop newer fiction and contemporary literature.
